Winter is the number one season for multifunctional footwear. Hanwag’s multifunctional Active Winter Line, now in its second year, is successfully offering high-quality, long-lasting winter footwear that guarantees to keep your feet warm and dry. With the new arrivals, PULJA LADY ES, SAISA HIGH ES and SAISA MID ES, ANROS ES and ANVOK ES, for the first time Hanwag is making footwear without using any fluorinated chemicals. This is an important first step in a new direction towards sustainable footwear production.
Thomas Gröger starts as new Managing Director of Hanwag GmbH, Lars Ryslev takes over position of Managing Director in Germany for the Fjällräven Sportartikelhandelsgesellschaft mbH. Kasper Holmboe is new Country Manager of Fenix Outdoor Denmark.
HANWAG ACTIVE WINTER: Footprints in the snow - with MICHELIN® V-ROUGH sole technology for winter 2018/19. Hanwag is continuing to rely on MICHELIN® V-ROUGH for Fall/Winter 2018/19 and is further developing its ACTIVE WINTER models with innovative technology.
Born in Bavaria. Worn around the world. We're excited to see where the trail leads. More than ever, innovation is a driving force for Hanwag developers and employees. We are designing and developing new models, such as the BENDIGO and CALPA featuring our innovative TubeTec technology. And we continue to further improve tried-and tested classics, as we have done this season with the popular Hanwag TATRA. For Spring/ Summer 2018, Hanwag is proud to present the TATRA II and – for treks with a lighter pack and hiking – the TATRA LIGHT.
As with every good mountain route, the development of Hanwag’s new models for Summer 2017 is also about the journey and not just the end result. By focusing on details, reducing weight and increasing comfort, many existing models have been revamped to include new sole constructions, new seams and stitching and new colour schemes and materials.
